Maya Svevak is a global citizen of Indian heritage, who has lived in 20 different cities and countries and speaks over 10 languages. She is an award-winning Ivy League-educated scientist, lawyer, and humanitarian entrepreneur, who has worked in the academic, corporate, and non-profit sectors. Inspired by Buddhist, Hindu and Yogic traditions, she is currently making the transition to an author of fiction, with the upcoming release of the first novel in the Svevi Avatar pentalogy.
